Excellent food inside or on a deck overlooking the sunset scene on Mallory Square. The views of the sunset are awesome from the outside deck! Located at Ocean Key Resort & Spa, Hot Tin Roof is as unique as Key West itself. Hot Tin Roof restaurant offers the best Key West dining on the water. Dark and candlelit inside, great view and more candlelight outside.
“The lounge and dining room have elegant island styles, and embrace the vibrant community of Key West. Detailed teak woodwork is complemented by hand painted murals and ceiling panels - all completed by late Key West artist Jeff Beal. White leather seating and wild wire sculptures bring whimsy to the beautiful lounge, while cozy banquettes offer an intimate option when embracing an island romance. Latitudes Key West Romantic Restaurant

Wonderful romantic, exceptional food and view. Delicious food in an amazing atmosphere. Elegant surroundings and impeccable service from servers who are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. “Their seafood influence is on “hooked” local fish: grouper, hogfish, snapper, and swordfish. Our Key West “pinks” come from the local shrimp fleets. And at Louie’s, your Florida Keys lobster was caught yesterday. Louie’s also features fine steaks, heirloom pork, rack of lamb and free-range chicken. The Upper Deck at Louie’s offers a perfect setting for sipping and tasting. Fine wines by the glass are perfectly complimented by the island’s best panoramic view of the ocean.”
recommend getting a table on the deck so you can hear the ocean hitting the rocks. Louie's is on the water. Excellent wine list. A very fine outdoor dining experience on the back deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean coast of Key West. Definitely a place to visit if you're looking for a great meal in the Conch Republic! That figure is stated on with the following breakdown of "flavours"; American ~ 53, Asian ~ 2, BBQ ~ 5, Bakery ~ 3, British ~ 1, Café ~ 6, Cajun & Creole ~ 1, Caribbean ~ 27, Chinese ~ 2, Continental ~ 2, Deli ~ 12, Dessert ~ 14, Eastern Europe ~ 1, European ~ 6, French ~ 4, Fusion/Eclectic ~ 7, Global/International ~ 2, Irish ~ 3, Italian ~ 8, Japanese ~ 2, Mediterranean ~ 2, Mexican ~ 6, Pizza ~ 9, Pub ` 2, Seafood ~ 34, Soups ~ 1, South American ~ 2, Spanish ~ 5, Steakhouse ~ 9, Sushi ~ 2, Thai ~ 3, Vegetarian ~ 4.

Of course these numbers do not add up because in the breakdown of the different cuisines you will find that there are many overlaps because it is normal for restaurants to fit into more than just one category.

As you can see from the above list, the dining delights that you will find are very diverse and there is something available for every taste! The most popular key west restaurants are the American, Caribbean, Seafood (of course!), with the desserts, Mediterranean and delis coming in closely behind. Because of the proximity to popular vacation spots, being the Caribbean, you have a lot of that influence here. You will be very pleased with not only the main dishes, but also with an abundance of tropical fruits.

Liven up your holidays and take in the breathtaking beauty of the ocean and areas from the wonderful array of restaurants that are in the Keys. Be prepared for a lively, boisterous and shall we say exuberant crowd in some of the restaurants that features alcohol and where the bar is a more prominent feature as the influx of vacationers arrive during Spring Break. If this is not your scene then you may want to scrutinize the more subdued options available to you.

One of the restaurants is Nine One Five ~ Bistro and Wine Bar and just one of the reviews on their website states "Scuba Diving Magazine - APRIL 2010 "Stroll into 915 for a true alfresco dinner. Specializing in creatively prepared local seafood, be sure not to miss the Thai whole yellowtail snapper"

Some of the other restaurants are: Grand Café Key West, Sarabeth's for classic American style cooking that we all know and love or Benihana Steaks and Seafood with Japanese flavors and culinary skills that will wow you. For the history and seafood lovers out there, try Conch Republic Seafood Company which is in the business of not only delighting you but works to keep up and promote the long history of the Key West seaport. They have 4 ~ 160 gallon salt water fish tanks to display the indigenous water-life of the Keys.

The Keys conjure up images of turquoise seas, warm tropical beaches, reefs, food, fun and of course lots of sun! With holiday dreams or working adventures, the Keys have it all. Leisure, dining, dancing, shopping, swimming, scuba and so much more but everyone will enjoy the food, food, food! Come on down!
